Constantinople was a city of the walls. This perfect example of the military architecture of the middle ages was 22 km in length. 7 km of medieval wall is still encircling the present city. One of the most interesting part is Seven Towered dungeons that addition to the city walls by Ottoman Empire. Following our meeting we drive along the city walls and front trenches to enter dungeons area. Your guide will take to the treasury sections and dark dungeon cells. Tell you some interesting stories of imprisoned royals and officials. Thereafter walk on the walls with the view of the Sea of Marmara and Princesses Islands. While looking at the view we will also come across with the picture of the thousands of ships on the sea. Watching them is like watching a documentary of city commercial life. We walk down to walls near by Golden Gate. 

Our walking goes along deep and scary wall’s trenches those have been filled into gardens today. We may see some locals and have some chats at the wall’s garden at the down town of a mega city. After that sort driving to visit a rare Byzantine church outside of the city walls. It is called life-giving-spring church in the sources. Lots of visitors come from neighboring Christian countries every weekend. Interesting overwritten marbles in the entry courtyard, holy spring water since ages, classic interior design and sarcophagus of patriarch are amongst our visit. From here, we will drive to another old Byzantine and Ottoman neighborhood to visit the only surviving Byzantine Tekfur palace. Today, serves as a musem with its interesting collections and exhibitions. Then short walking to  Chora church where we can see best byzantine mosaics and frescoes. It is a must in the list for anyone interested in eastern Roman mosaic and fresco art. Driving along the walls again to another dungeons. We stop by to get some nice backdrop pictures and continue to Fener neighborhood. It is in world heritage list, protected neighborhood by UNESCO. Ecumenic Orthodox patriarchate is one of the highlight visit of the area.  Ottoman empire also raised statements for its western territories in the last 200 years here. We will visit the spiritual central church of Orthodox Christianity. Then walk at the colorful, vibrant and artsy street. See some of the Greek, Armenian, Jewish houses, cultural and art building on our walking way. Every street intersects with another street and neighborhood is like ingenuous theatre stage.  In the recent years, harmonious tiny, boutique cafe and restaurants are opened here and a haunt for locals in daily life.
